Bege (Barbara Gail) Austein

Director of Account Management

Bege began working with Insurance Consulting Group, Inc. in 1993, after several years in management with Kraft Foods, Inc. After 25+ years of experience, she has developed an extensive insight of the group insurance industry. As our Director of Account Management, she uses her wisdom and people skills to handle employer and carrier matters as well as building those relationships. She oversees the day-to-day operations of the agency including; directing sales, initial emplacement of company benefits, assignment of client accounts to account managers, overseeing renewal activity, developing strategies for improving the services being furnished, and keeping up-to-date with ever-changing legislative laws, reform, and mandates for clients’ businesses to remain in compliance. In her time away from the office, she is involved in children’s ministry within her church and enjoys time with her grown children, grandchildren, and friends.
